This Privacy Policy explains how GymNudge ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and gym retention software (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
GymNudge is built for gym owners in India. We act as the data controller for the account information of the gym owners and staff who sign up. For the member data that a gym enters into GymNudge, the gym is the data controller and GymNudge processes that data on the gym's behalf.
Information we collect
- Account information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, gym details, and login credentials.
- Payment information: handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card details on our servers.
- Member data your gym enters: member names, phone numbers, attendance records, membership and renewal dates, and payment records, used to provide retention features.
- Usage and device data: log data, browser and device information, and cookies needed to keep you signed in.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: detecting inactive members, tracking renewals, and surfacing who to follow up with.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To provide support and respond to your messages.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- To improve the Service.
WhatsApp follow-up
GymNudge helps you follow up with members by opening WhatsApp on your own phone with a prefilled message. We do not send WhatsApp messages on your behalf through an API, and we do not charge per message. The message is sent by you, from your own WhatsApp account.
How we share information
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service (such as cloud hosting and database providers and our payment processor), when required by law, or to protect our rights and users. These providers process data on our instructions.
Data security
We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation so each gym's data is kept separate. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and that of your members.
Data retention
We keep account and member data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, unless we are required to keep it to meet legal or accounting obligations.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, contact us at hello@gymnudge.in.
If you are a gym member and want to access, correct, or delete your data, please contact your gym, which controls that data. We will assist the gym in responding to your request.
Cookies
We use essential cookies needed to sign you in and keep the Service working. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
Children
The Service is intended for gym businesses and their staff, not for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top, and significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
